- … if we stopped proclaiming the gospel?
- … if we no longer held to the centrality of Christ?
- … if we adopted a heresy?
Would you still have the same set of friends from church? Are your friendships based on your commonalities – age, gender, income, ethnicity, hobbies etc.? Or are you attempting to make friends because of the bonds we have in Christ?
Selah.

Nope! Ill leave CCube, with tears in my eyes though.
I hope that day never comes that CCube will have at its centre what is at the centre in scripture that is Jesus Christ. I pray the day never comes when CCube moves from being faithful to scripture and adopts ear pleasing heresy. I also pray the day never comes when WE become disobedient and passive to God’s comission.
If the members of CCube, who are my family, move away from striving to honor christ, spurring one another to worship, maintain the holiness of his body, preparing eachother for the bridegroom to come and looking forward to that day, then in short my family will have stopped being christ like and will stop being my family.
We identify and associate with one another on the basis of Christs work in each others lives. While as friends we have other interests we share but our PRIMARY reason of friendship is because HE has redeemed us and is working in us.
